Well, you may question my title “the delightful80s”. See it as sarcasm, truly delightful, or surely God given. But see it as you wish! I see it as all 3 according to how I am feeling physically, socially or spiritually. The day I chose it , it was definitely physically…boy, I felt 181 every inch of me. So yes it was sarcastic, sorry!
My husband wanted to live to be 90. Shortly he bemoaned that fact and now is 92 headed toward 100. He looks to me to be in his 70s. Smooth wrinkless face. His hair is trying to re-cover his bald spot-can’t imagine how that happened. He has the complaints of a 90+ year old. But he still goes to Sunday School and preaching services and loves to hit Walmart every day, and riding in the car delights him no end. According to his Cardiologist he has the heart of a 50 year old. Low healthy Cholesterol!!
As for my Cholesterol, Drs. G. and S. say I should live to 105. Not in my body, no siree! But enough of this belly aching. God gave me mercy and grace. Wow, He is so good to me!
